Free beta
Privacy and beta terms
Simverse is in an open beta. This page says, in plain words, what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email and a securely hashed password (we never see the password itself).
- Your résumé, if you upload one: the file's text and what we extract from it (skills, education, experience) to estimate which roles you're ready for.
- What you do in simulations: your replies, the code, queries and documents you write, the choices you make and when. This is how your report and skill scores are worked out.
- Your GitHub username, if you add it: we read your public repositories through GitHub's public API. Nothing private.
- Proctoring signals during a simulation: counts only, never content. How often and how long you left the simulation tab or full screen, how many pastes from outside were blocked, how much you typed compared with how much you submitted, and whether a second screen was connected. We don't record your camera, microphone or screen, and we never see what you copy or paste. Your email is shown faintly across the simulation so screenshots can be traced. These signals decide whether a result is marked verified.
- Usage events (e.g. “started a simulation”) to see which parts of the product work. If product analytics is switched on, it gets page addresses without their query strings (so links like password resets never reach it) and your account's internal id, not your name or email.
- Service costs: how many AI calls and code runs each simulation run used, so we know what it costs to run. These records stay after you delete your account, with nothing linking them to you.
Who else processes it
Your written replies, documents and résumé text are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI, with Anthropic as a backup if OpenAI is unavailable) to interpret replies, play the people you talk to and score written work. Your account name and email aren't attached to what we send (a résumé, of course, contains whatever you wrote in it). They process it to give us a response and, under their API terms, don't use it to train their own models. Our email provider (Resend) delivers account emails such as password resets. Our hosting and database providers store the data. We don't sell your data or share it with employers.
Training Simverse's models (only if you opt in)
We're building our own models so feedback and scoring get better. If you agree, we use your simulation work to train them, with your identity removed first. It's off unless you turn it on: you can tick the box when you sign up, answer the one-time question in the app, or change it any time on your account page. Saying no doesn't change anything else about your account.
- What can be used: what you do in simulations (your replies, code, queries and documents, the choices you make and when), how you worked (test runs, edits, hints, which apps you used), the proctoring counts above, and your results and scores.
- What's removed first: your name, email, password, résumé and GitHub username are never included. Your account and each simulation run are replaced by random codes. Your own name, and any email addresses, phone numbers and links, are removed from what you wrote, and times are reduced to how far into the simulation something happened. Please don't write other people's personal details into simulations (see the beta terms below).
- The link back to you: the key that connects those codes to your account is kept separately and used only to remove your data when you ask. Without it, the training data doesn't say who you are.
- Who sees it: Simverse, and any provider we use to train models, under terms that keep it confidential and forbid using it for anything else. We don't sell it or share it with employers.
- Changing your mind: turning it off, or deleting your account, keeps your data out of any future training and we remove your records from the training data we hold. A model that has already been trained can't forget what it learned, but it holds patterns, not your records.
Everything else on this page is unchanged: we still keep your account details (name, email), your simulation history and your results so the product works for you.
Scores are guidance
Readiness and skill scores are generated by software from your résumé and the simulations you complete. They're a practice signal, not a prediction of whether you'll be hired, and they aren't shared with anyone.
Your choices
You can delete your account and everything linked to it yourself, at any time, from your account page; it takes effect immediately. To see the data we hold about you, email support@simverse.in and we'll send it within a week.
Beta terms
- This is an early version: things may break, change or be reset. We'll try to keep your progress, but can't promise it during the beta.
- Companies, people and data inside simulations are fictional.
- Please don't put confidential information about real employers or other people into replies.
- Your feedback is the point of the beta: anything you send through “Send feedback” may be used to improve Simverse.
Last updated: 13 October 2026. What changed: an optional, opt-in choice to let us train Simverse's models on de-identified simulation data. Nothing is used for training unless you agree.
